Dance is an interesting art subject to study with different research methods and perspectives. The area of origin can be the core of studying a nation's culture, because culture can truly be understood if it comes from its origins. This study aims to see how the representation of the culture of gotong royong in the Welcome Dance of Sekundang Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra. The data used in this study is primary data which is the result of direct observation and research on the Sambut Seguid Sekundang dance which is the object of research. Qualitative research data analysis begins before entering the field, while in the field until after leaving the field. the welcome dance for the sekundang sekundang from Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra, is a dance that depicts respect and welcome of arriving guests, with meanings that represent the culture of mutual cooperation.
