This study aims to determine the level of awareness of housewives about a healthy and clean environment in Rantau Panjang Village, OKU Selatan District. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 37 housewives with the criteria of having a productive age 20-40 years old and having children aged under five to 12 years old. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and observation. Measurementof data analysis is carried out through three indicators of awareness, namely knowledge, attitides and behavior. The results showed that the awareness of housewives about a healthy and clean environment was in the low category. This can be seen through the average overall score of 57,6. The knowledge indicator is 61,2 in medium category, and the behavior is 58,2 in the low category. There needs to be an increase in attitudes and behavior through assistance regarding awareness of a healthy and clean environment.
