KOMUNIKASI ORGANISASI ANTARA PIMPINAN DAN BAWAHAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA PEGAWAI (STUDI PADA UPTD PUSAT INFORMASI PENGEMBANGAN PERMUKIMAN DAN BANGUNAN (PIP2B) DAN JASA KONSTRUKSI DINAS PERUMAHAN DAN KAWASAN PERMUKIMAN PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN)
This research is entitled "Organizational Communication of Leaders and Subordinates in Improving Employee Performance (Study at the UPTD Information Center for Housing and Building Development (PIP2B) and Construction Services for the Office of Housing and Settlement Areas of South Sumatra Province)". This study aims to determine organizational communication between leaders and subordinates in improving the performance of UPTD employees (PIP2B) and Construction Services at the Housing and Settlement Area Office of South Sumatra Province. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with data sourced from interviews, observation, and documentation. The theory used is Systems Theory (Modern Organizational Theory) according to Scott (2018) which is divided into 4 (four) dimensions, namely non-summative, elements of structure, function and evolution, openness, and hierarchy. The results of this study indicate that the UPTD PIP2B Disperkim in non-summative forms a communication identity in the procedure for conveying messages, structural flows in formal activities, functions in the application of direct and media communication, the evolution of changes in organizational structure, openness to interact and hierarchies of approaches and discussions. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the organizational communication of leaders and subordinates carried out by the UPTD Information Center for Housing and Building Development (PIP2B) and the Construction Services Service for Housing and Settlement Areas of South Sumatra Province in the implementation of organizational communication can encourage increased employee performance.
