This research is entitled "The Effectiveness of Organizational Communication in Education (Study on Teachers of SMA Negeri 06 Palembang)". This study aims to determine the effectiveness of communication within the organization for teachers at SMA Negeri 06 Palembang. To discuss this research, the theory used is the theory of Organizational Communication Effectiveness put forward by Kriyantono. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. This research was conducted with a sample of 56 respondents, namely SMA Negeri 06 Palembang teachers. The data collection technique in this study was distributing questionnaires. Based on the results of the analysis of the research that has been done, it is found that of the six dimensions used in this study, namely communication climate has a value of 69% which is in the good category, organizational satisfaction has a value of 68% which is included in the good category, dissemination of information has a value of 68%. included in the good category, information load had a value of 63% included in the good category, message accuracy had a value of 69% included in the good category, organizational culture had a value of 70% included in the good category. Thus based on the results of the values of each dimension it is concluded that the Effectiveness of Organizational Communication in Education (Study on Teachers of SMA Negeri 06 Palembang) is Effective.
