PT Bima Shabartum Wijaya is a company that will invest in andesite mining project in Damarpura Village, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra, which is targeted in 2023. In making an investment, it is necessary to analyze the investment and economic feasibility of mining. This economic analysis aims to assess whether this investment is feasible or not based on its economic level. The research method used is the discounted cash flow method which has the principle of calculating and analyzing economic feasibility with clear and consistent decision results with the output of whether mining is feasible or not. The results of this study were declared feasible with a net present value (NPV) of Rp 48,676,896,659, an internal rate of return (IRR) of 94.43%, a present value ratio (PVR) of 3.02, a gross benefit cost ratio (Gross B/C) of 4.02, and a payback period (PBP) of 1.25 years whose capital will return in the second year of mining activities. This study also conducted a business sensitivity analysis which aims to see how much changes in investment parameters affect the calculation simulations carried out. The sensitivity analysis was carried out by considering changes in selling prices and operational costs. The results obtained from this sensitivity analysis, a decrease in selling price at 20-30%, will result in a negative NPV. For an increase in operating costs, an increase of 10-30% still results in a positive NPV. From the results of the sensitivity analysis, it can be concluded that a decrease in selling price is sensitive to NPV. This research also determines the number of tools that will be used in the mining process. From the results of the research, it is obtained that the number and type of tools used in mining activities at PT Bima Shabartum Wijaya are CAT 320 excavators needed 1 tool, Hino FM 285 JD dump trucks needed as many as 2 tools, CAT 320 with hydraulic hammer needed 1 tool, and RM 90 GO crusher needed 1 tool.
