Efforts to overcome the problem of migrant workers who face the death penalty in Malaysia really need the role of the Indonesian government. Through the role of the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur in providing assistance to protect Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia which is procedurally the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur has a very important role because it is thea main figure in providing efforts to protect cases of death penalty against Indonesian migrant workers working in Malaysia as a representative of diplomatic relations betwen Indonesia and Malaysia and serves as a liaison between the governments of Indonesia and Malaysia, which are the destination countries for placement of Indonesian migrant workers. The Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur uses a multi-track diplomacy approach a in efforts to protect Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia. The first approach is 1st Track Diplomacy, namely diplomacy carried out through the role of government (government) which in this case is carried out through the creation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Mandatory Counsular Notification (MCN). The second diplomatic effort is 2nd track diplomacy, namely diplomacy involving actors other than the state such as Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), or other international organizations as well as a person to person approach. Keywords: Multi-track diplomacy, Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Protection of Migrant Workers
