This research was conducted by the authors to analyze the Speech act of the South Sumatra BNNP dealing with the issue of smuggling and trafficking of narcotics accommodated through the internet. The spread of drugs in this globalization era is very easy and fast, because sales can be done through online sites. Drugs are a problem for many countries, one of which is Indonesia. One of them is in South Sumatra Province. The distribution of narcotics is very worried about the South Sumatra Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP), especially during the pandemic, the number of narcotics spread has increased because drug trafficking can be carried out online via the internet. This cyber market is a concern for the South Sumatra BNNP, especially South Sumatra, which is one of the biggest drug abusers in Indonesia. Speech acts are a form of securitization in the form of broadcasting or dissemination or often referred to as speech acts. This speech act can also be interpreted as a form in which a speaker conveys something that convinces the audience and can cause many things to happen if it is successfully carried out. The drug prevention process carried out by the South Sumatra BNNP can certainly be carried out with similar actions and are in the accommodation of the Internet or using social media accounts which in this action are of course in the form of speech acts. This study uses the theory of securitization and 5 indicators in the speech act. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods and uses interview methods. In addition, this study will also use documentation studies and literature studies from both primary data sources and secondary data. The South Sumatra BNNP is the unit of analysis for this study, so the authors conducted in-depth interviews with the South Sumatra BNNP to produce speech acts on the South Sumatra BNNP social media, namely Youtube, Instagram and Tiktok.
