FAKTOR DETERMINAN KEKAMBUHAN TB PARU DI RSUP DR. MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG
Relaps of Pulmonary Tuberculosis are still a health problem in the world. Factors that influence the recurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis are nutritional status (BMI), level of education, employment, comorbidities, treatment compliance and smoking habits. This study aimed to determine the determinants of pulmonary tuberculosis recurrence. This type of research is analytical research with a cross sectional survey method. Sampling in this study used non-probability sampling and used a total sampling technique with a total of 322 samples and this research was conducted at the Dr. Central General Hospital. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Data collection used secondary data from hospitals, namely medical records related to the recurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis. The research results showed that variables that were significantly related were employment (p value 0.000), medication adherence (p value 0.001) and smoking habits (p value 0.001). The factor that most influences the recurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis is the occupational variable with an OR 4.819. Work influences respondents' income, respondents who have low incomes often cannot meet health standards in terms of consuming clean food or a healthy home environment. Based on the results of this research, cooperation from food administrators is needed to always maintain stable food prices as well as cooperation between local governments regarding environmental cleanliness conditions.
