Cervical cancer is the mucosa that is on the surface of the cervix and then grows locally and will spread to the uterus, then paracervical tissue and pelvic organs. Cervical cancer can be treated in three ways, including surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Chemotherapy causes damage to several normal cells, one of which is the gastrointestinal cells which can cause nausea and vomiting. Nursing interventions that can be carried out to overcome the problem of nausea in post-chemotherapy cervical cancer patients are by providing aromatherapy and acupressure techniques. Purpose: Provide nursing care to post chemotherapy cervical cancer patients by providing aromatherapy and acupressure techniques method. Method: This study used a qualitative research with a case study approach in 3 post chemotherapy cervical cancer patients. Disscussion: Providing aromatherapy and acupressure can overcome nausea and decreased vomit complaint because aromatherapy or fragrant substances are carried to the olfactory nerve and stimulate sensory cells to release serotonin receptors, while acupressure stimulates parts of the body, influencing the receptors to stimulate the activity of the vagal afferent pathway which Activates the vomiting center so that excitability of the solitarius tract decreases. Conclusion: Providing aromatherapy and acupressure techniques is effective in overcoming the problem of nausea experienced by post-chemotherapy cervical cancer patients Keywords: Cervical cancer, Nursing care, Nausea, Chemotherapy,Aromatherapy, Acupressure Bibliography: (2013 – 2023)
