This research is entitled "Persuasive Communication of the South Sumatra Terrorism Prevention Coordination Forum (FKPT) in Preventing Radicalism in South Sumatra Province". This study aims to find out how persuasive communication is carried out in an effort to prevent radicalism in the people of South Sumatra Province. This study uses persuasive communication theory put forward by Mc.Guire. Data were obtained in this study through in-depth interviews and observations with the head of the South Sumatra FKPT, one member of the South Sumatran Densus 88, and one member of the South Sumatra community. The results of this study indicate that the South Sumatra FKPT, the South Sumatra Detachment 88 Team and one of the South Sumatran people have carried out the six dimensions of persuasive communication theory, namely presenting, attending, comprehending, yielding, acting. Of the six dimensions mentioned, the author finds that these six dimensions have gone well in persuasive communication in preventing radicalism in the Province of South Sumatra.
