This research aims to determine the labeling process and determine the forms of labeling given by the community to adolescent users of electronic cigarettes (vape) in Patih Galung Village, Prabumulih City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The findings of this research are that there is a labeling process by the community for young people who use electronic cigarettes (vape), where this process includes the community's initial knowledge about electronic cigarettes (vape), where the community gets knowledge about electronic cigarettes from social media and the surrounding environment, as for the meaning electronic cigarettes (vape) by the public to teenage users of electronic cigarettes (vape) who view electronic cigarettes as something negative and there is labeling given by the public to teenage users of electronic cigarettes (vape). In this research, it was also found that the reason why people label teenagers as users of electronic cigarettes (vapes) is because the safety of electronic cigarettes is not guaranteed and also has several bad effects that are not much different from tobacco cigarettes. Then there are forms of labeling given by society to teenagers who use electronic cigarettes (vape), including 1) people who don't love their bodies, 2) people who are consumptive and wasteful, 3) people who act cool and 4) people who have a bad influence on them. surrounding people and the environment.
