Background: Schizophrenia is the most important psychotic disorder, but its psychotic picture and main signs and symptoms can also be found in other mental disorders. One of the signs and symptoms is hallucinations. These hallucinations can be controlled with several implementation strategies including Positive Affirmation Therapy. Purpose: This paper aims to describe mental nursing care in patients with sensory perception disorders; auditory hallucinations at Dr.Ernaldi Bahar Mental Hospital Palembang. Method: The writing of this scientific paper uses qualitative descriptive methods in the form of case studies. Results: There were three nursing problems in all three managed patients consisting of one major problem: sensory perception disorders: auditory hallucinations. The intervention provided was in the form of hallucinatory implementation strategies and Positive Affirmation Therapy. After nursing intervention, there was a decrease in the frequency and duration of visual hallucinations in all three clients. Conclusion: The three managed patients are given nursing care consisting of assessment, enforcement of nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The nursing implications Of Positive Affirmation Therapy show that there is a decrease in visual hallucinations and an increase in the ability to control hallucinations in managed patients
