HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI REMAJA DENGAN PENCEGAHAN SEKS PRANIKAH
Premarital sex was a problem that occurs in all countries in the world including Indonesia, which is the target of sex crimes, namely adolescents. Prevention of premarital sex is very important to be socialized to all teenagers so that premarital sex does not occur. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether there is a relationship between perceived vulnerability, perceived seriousness, perceived benefits, and perceived barriers to the prevention of premarital sex. This research was a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach with the Chi Square method. The sampled technique in this study was total sampled with 70 respondents at SMA Mardi Wacana Palembang. Data collection used instruments in the form of questionnaires. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between perceived vulnerability with a p-value of 0.001 and perceived barriers with a p-value of 0.017 with the prevention of premarital sex, while perceived seriousness with a p-value of 0.057 and perceived benefits with a p-value of 1.000 have no relationship with the prevention of premarital sex. The relationship between adolescent perception problems and prevention of premarital sex has a fairly good relationship. Perceptions of adolescents categorized in various situations will play a major role in efforts to prevent premarital sex so that the need for adolescents to gain psychological / physical maturity can be maximized.
