This study aims to find out the use of the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) in RT 007 RW 04 Tanjung Batu Timur Village. This research approach uses a qualitative approach, and the technique used in this research is descriptive. The sample used is narulistic research. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation. There were 4 subjects in this study, namely parents of children who have Smart Indonesia Cards (KIP). The results of research conducted at RT 007 RW 04 Tanjung Batu Village show that: the subject (KIP beneficiary) is included in the category of eligible recipients of assistance. In addition, in terms of the use of the money distributed, all of it is used for the benefit of children's education, as the general purpose of providing Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) assistance. All respondents felt the benefits of the KIP assistance provided. So that they are increasingly motivated to continue their education to a higher level. The general objective of the KIP program is to improve the quality of human resources, change the behavior of KIP participants who do not support efforts to improve welfare, and break the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
