ANALISIS CURING PADA GREEN CONCRETE.
Green concrete is concrete that utilizes the use of waste or recycled materials at least as one of its components, or when the production process does not cause damage to the environment and the sustainability of the life cycle. So that it can be interpreted that green concrete is environmentally friendly concrete. In this study, a case study was taken of making concrete by utilizing fly ash, and waste glass powder as a substitute for 80% of cement material, as well as brick and concrete debris as a substitute for fine aggregate in the manufacture of green concrete which will be made in four variations with the composition (OPC:FA:WGP) namely, FWB1 (20%:80%:0%), FWB2 (20%:60%:20%), FWB3 (20%:40%:40%), and FWB4 (20%:20 %:60%). Based on the results of the study, it was found that the highest compressive strength was found in the FWB1 variation with 4.948 MPa, while FWB2 had a compressive strength value of 4.443 MPa, FWB3 with 3.674 MPa, FWB4 with 3.407 MPa. So, if applied in buildings, green concrete in this study can be applied as concrete bricks on wall pairs. When compared with the same material as concrete in general, in terms of price, it can be sorted where FWB 1 has the cheapest price, then FWB2, FWB3, FWB4, and OPC2 concrete that uses curing with gunny bags that cost the most. While OPC1 is wearing plastic sheet as a medium curing has the highest price. The use of gunny bags as a curing is also more environmentally friendly when compared with plastic sheets which has the potential to become waste that accumulates and is difficult to decompose.
