PERENCANAAN DAN PERANCANGAN PUSAT WISATA KULINER ASIAN-CENTERED DI KOTA PALEMBANG
As the trade and service industry develops in the city of Palembang, the development of facilities and infrastructure that support the culinary industry is also increasing. Accompanied by the development of globalization, the development of the culinary industry continues to increase along with the development of acculturation from other cultures entering Indonesia so that the interest in special foods from foreign countries also increases. There are many developments in culinary tourism centers with various concepts in Palembang, but of all the existing culinary tourism centers, the concepts offered are almost the same, that the use for functional aspects and facilities mostly depends on the building alone. In this way, the site management and use of space in the building will feel monotonous and allow people in Palembang to feel drilled. The Asian-Centered Culinary Tourism Center in Palembang City is designed into 5 culinary zones from typical Asian countries, they are Indonesia, Japan, Korea, China and India. To be harmonious, each zone will be designed with an interior and service system according to the characteristics of each country. This culinary tourism center has 4 floors which were designed based on the results of analysis and responses from the site location, with 3 floors that can be accessed by visitors, and a utility room on the 4th floor. The city walk concept was combined to increase the attractiveness of the Asian-Centered Culinary Tourism Center in Palembang city. This culinary tourism center is designed with various supporting facilities and adequate pedestrians so that visitors can enjoy a pleasant outdoor atmosphere for visitors and the surrounding buildings, as well as providing a recreational architectural atmosphere.
