This research develops interactive powerpoint-based serial picture media for narrative writing material on theme 1 sub-theme 1 of class III learning 5 at SDN 116 Palembang which aims to develop interactive powerpoint-based serial picture media for narrative writing material that has been validated and also identifies the effectiveness of using serial picture media. interactive powerpoint based on narrative writing material. This study uses the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development and Disseminate). The validation results obtained by material experts are 96% including the valid category. The validation results from media experts are 92% including the valid category. The results for trials by students were 99.2% including the very effective category. From these results, that interactive Powerpoint-based serial picture media is appropriate and effective for use in learning. Henceforth, it is hoped that this learning media can be used in learning in elementary schools in other materials. Keyword : Serial picture media, Development, Interactive Powerpoint
