ANALISA KARAKTERUSTIK DAN MODEL PESEBARAN LAPISAN BATUBARA PADA PT BATUALAM SELARAS, BLOK KIKIM, LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN.
The study was located in Gumay Talang District, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra. The research location is located in the South Sumatra Basin and is included in the Muaraenim Formation (Tmpm). The study was conducted to determine the characteristics and distribution patterns of coal seams at the location. The methods used in this study are well logging and startmodel methods. Lithology found at the study site is in the form of siltstone, claystone, coal and sandstone. Geophysical logging analysis was carried out at 4 drilling well points. The coal seam found in the study area consists of 4 seams. The order from youngest to oldest seam is seam B, seam C, seam D and seam E with an average thickness of seam B 1.45 m, seam C 6.44 m, seam D, seam E. Seam B has the largest thickness of 9.55 meters, Seam C 2.29 meters, seam D 4.9 meters and Seam E 2.1 meters. Based on ASTM Classification of coal seam at PT. Harmonized natural stone is included in the Sub-bituminous B – Sub-Bituminous A rank coal. The deposition structure found at the research site is in the form of splitting. Based on electrofacies, gamma ray graphs in each coal seam show the same type, namely Cylindrical, which shows that the coal seam is also deposited in the upper delta plain environment. The distribution of coal in the study area is in a northeast-southwest direction. The distribution of each coal seam at PT Batualam Selaras, Kikim Block is relatively the same, which has a direction of spread or strike from West – East (900) and dip 80 degrees to the South.
