RANCANG BANGUN PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA SURYA SEBAGAI SUMBER ENERGI ALTERNATIF PADA MESIN STERILISASI ALAT MEDIS PORTABLE.
Solar energy has a very abundant amount and is friendly to the environment. Therefore, all living things use the sun as a source of life. However, conventional energy that is still widely used as an energy source to produce electrical energy is such as coal, gas, and petroleum. Because the supply of conventional energy that will not be able to be used continuously for a long period of time, an alternative energy is needed that can be used as an electrical energy generator, namely solar or solar energy, by using solar cells to produce electrical energy. There are several household appliances, offices, and hospitals that use power tools. For example, in hospitals, one of the electrical devices used is a medical device sterilization machine. Sterilization is the release of a tool and also material from various living microorganisms or their resting stage. One of the sterilization methods is heat sterilization consisting of 2 types, namely dry heat sterilization in an oven with a temperature of 1600C for 120 minutes - 1700C for 60 minutes. This study aims to make solar power plants as an alternative energy source on portable sterilizers for medical devices with a temperature of 1700C. From the experiments that have been carried out, the tool that has been made is able to produce enough power for charging the battery which can be used as an energy source on portable medical device sterilization machines with a maximum voltage and current of 20.9 V and 8.1 A. While in cloudy weather produces the smallest voltage and current, which is only able to produce a voltage of 17.6 V and a current of 1 A. The battery must have a minimum voltage of 12 V to reach 1700C. data to reach 1700C, solar panels produce a maximum power of 163.13 Watts and a minimum of 62.08 Watts. This means that the greater the power, the faster the battery charging, and vice versa.
