ANALISIS PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN AGREGAT BUATAN GEOPOLIMER BERBASIS FLY ASH DENGAN METODE COLD BOND PELLETIZATION TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK BETON.
The problem of using natural stone which is a very important component in development that occurs every year or even every day and is used very massively raises concerns about the reduced availability of rock in nature, while the demand for it is always increasing. Then the fly ash waste which reaches 460 million tons annually is not utilized properly, therefore this research is present which will conduct research on fly ash-based artificial aggregates which will be able to solve this problem. The purpose of this study was to analyze and understand the effect of fly ash-based geopolymer-made aggregates using the cold bond pelletization method on the mechanical properties of concrete. The materials used in this study are cement, water, sand, and natural coarse aggregate and artificial coarse aggregate. In this study, the mechanical properties were tested in the form of a concrete compressive strength test with a target strength of fc' 25 MPa and a split strength test. For concrete compressive strength values obtained by natural aggregate concrete is 28.976 MPa, while pelleted aggregate concrete is 25.582 MPa. Meanwhile, the split strength of natural aggregate concrete is 10.067% of the compressive strength, which is 2.917 MPa, and for pelleted aggregate concrete it is 10.324% of the compressive strength of the concrete, which is 2.641 MPa. From research conducted concrete using natural aggregates and artificial aggregates both meet the target of compressive strength.
