ANALISIS GEOMETRI JALAN TAMBANG UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS ALAT ANGKUT PADA PENAMBANGAN BATUBARA DI PT BUKIT BARA ALAM, LAHAT, SUMATERA SELATAN.
An ideal mine hauling road will optimize production results in accordance with planned production targets. The coal production target at PT Bukit Bara Alam in January and February is 65,000 tons and 61,000 tons, while the actual production is 56,570 tons and 50,819. One of the unattainments is caused by the less than ideal haul road geometry so that the travel time of dump trucks from the mining front to the ROM stock becomes longer. The purpose of this study is to determine the actual dump truck productivity, analyze the comparison of actual haul road geometry conditions with standard haul road geometry, and find out the productivity of dump trucks after repair. Based on the results of the study, a mine hauling road layout design was obtained from the mining front to the ROM stock with 14 segments. The actual haul road geometry has a straight road width between 7-33.6 meters, a bend road width between 7.9-26.4 meters, superelevation between 1.75%-8.75% with a bend radius between 10.213-71.22 meters, a cross slope between 0-5.24%, and a road grade between 0-6.08%. Based on road geometry calculations using AASHTO provisions, there are still many that do not meet the standards. The actual dump truck cycle time (before repair) is 21.74 minutes, while for after repair it is 19.01 minutes. The actual dump truck productivity is 24.327 tons / hour, while after repair it is 27.82 tons / hour. PT Bukit Bara Alam's coal production in March increased from 57,448 tons to 65,698 tons, resulting in a production achievement of 98.05%.
