STUDI EKSPERIMENTAL KUAT TARIK LENTUR BETON DENGAN BAHAN TAMBAH KARET REMAH (CRUMB RUBBER) YANG MENGALAMI PERLAKUAN WAKTU PEMANASAN
Rubber concrete / crumb rubber concrete is a mixture consisting of sand with a mixture of rubber, crushed stone or other aggregate mixed together with a paste made of cement and water to form a rock-like mass. Concrete is a composite material (mixture) and several materials whose main ingredients consist of a mixture of fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water and or without other additives in a certain ratio. The strength of concrete at a certain age depends on the ratio of the weight of water to the weight of cement in the concrete mix. In this study using a variation of the use of crumb rubber (crumb rubber) 5%, 10% and 15% of the volume of fine aggregate. The test objects in this study were in the form of blocks with dimensions of 15 cm x 15 cm x 60 cm. The flexural tensile strength test was carried out at the age of 28 days and crumb rubber was given an oven heating treatment for 24 hours. The results showed that the addition (crumb rubber) using the heating treatment method with a predetermined ratio was used as a substitute for fine aggregate. However, the higher the percentage, the flexural tensile strength decreases.
