Fine aggregate volume that substituted by styrojoam as big as 25%, 50%. 75%, with thc aim to determine thc ejfect oj styrojoam on the compressive strength and density of concrete. In research a/so uses viscocrete sika-10 as an added ingredient of 1.8% by weight of cement. which aim s to increase the compressive strength o f concrete. Of research result. known that each sand substitution with styrojoam 25% of volumed total sands. therefore specific gravity of concrete decreased on average by 5- 6%o and concrete compressive strength decreased on average by 28-29%. Up t o 75% substitution of the total volume o f sand, specijic gravity oj concrete decreased by 19- 27%o and 67-70% of the compressive strength. Levels of substitution of sand with styrojoam optimum i s 25% with specific gravity of concrete of 2254 kg'nv and compressive strength (K) of 259.08 kg cm2 or compressive strength (fc) of 22 MPa, according oj SNI 03-2847-2002 which States that concrete of structures that withstand eartlupiakes not /ess than 20 MPa.
