This research entitled is “The Effect of 2019 Presidential Election Debate on Decision of Voting for Beginner Voters (Study of Limbang Jaya I Village, Tanjung Batu Sub-District, Ogan Ilir District)” by liva Yulianda. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence on the 2019 presidential election debate on the decision to vote for novice voters in Limbang Jaya village I. The concept used to measure the effect of the 2019 presidential election debate (independent variable) is the concept of a program that can affect the audience proposed by Morissan (2009: 324-336) and for decision making (the dependent variable) using behavioral decision theory from Lau and Redlawsk (2006). The method applied is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis techniques. The findings from the analysis in this study were obtained through hypothesis testing using the t test that the tcacl is greater than ttable, where tcalc 4,716 > ttable 1,991, which means that there was an influence of the 2019 presidential election debate on the decision to vote for novicevoters.
