This research is entitled Risk Communication of the South Sumatra Office of Communication and Information Technology in Public Health Information Services in the Era of the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study aims to determine the Risk Communication of the South Sumatra Communication and Information Office using the CERC (Communication Emergency Risk Communication) approach. This CERC theory has 5 dimensions, namely, pre-crisis, initial, maintenance, resolution, evaluation. The research method used is a qualitative research method by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation obtained from the object under study. This research also uses descriptive analysis techniques by collecting reliable information that has been obtained from interviews with informants in detail. The Office of Communication and Information of South Sumatra has carried out risk communication, it is proven that there is a match between the Risk Communication carried out by the Office of Communication and Information with the CERC (Communication Emergency and Risk Communication) theory. From the five dimensions of CERC theory, researchers found that the evaluation dimension did not go well because the South Sumatra Office of Communication and Information did not have a new risk communication strategy, they only repeated what had been done before such as socialization through online media and roadside billboards.
