The overburden dumping plan at PT Putra Muba Coal is designed as a monthly sequential dumping plan based on the established disposal design. There is a discrepancy between the dumping plan and its realization in the field, resulting in inconsistencies in both production and overburden dumping. This study aims to determine the achievement of overburden dumping based on the realization of the dumping sequence, the volume of discrepancies that occurred, the contributing factors, and the efforts that can be undertaken. The achievement of overburden dumping and the volume of discrepancies in dumping are analyzed using MineScape 5.7 software by comparing the dumping sequence in January 2023 with the progress of disposal dumping at the end of January 2023. The achievement of overburden dumping based on the realization of the dumping sequence in Pit Pandu in January 2023 is 63.37% of the target of 698,420.44 BCM, which is 442,585.95 BCM, where 374,097.95 BCM is the area in of plan. The analysis results indicate that the causes of discrepancies are the quantity and placement of fleets that do not align with the plan, lower effective working hours than planned, lower equipment productivity than planned, and suboptimal supervision. Several efforts are proposed to minimize these discrepancies, including minimizing the loss time of excavation and hauling equipment, rescheduling excavation equipment, and improving the effective working time of equipment.
