IMPLEMENTASI METODE DESIGN THINKING DALAM PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENILAIAN KINERJA DOSEN PADA UNIVERSITAS PGRI PALEMBANG
Lecturer performance assessment is an activity to monitor and evaluate the quality and performance of lecturers in terms of knowing the quality possessed by lecturers in implementing the three pillars of higher education. At the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of PGRI Palembang, lecturer performance evaluation is carried out by the Quality Assurance Group (GPM) periodically, namely every semester. However, in carrying out its activities there are problems such as it is impractical and takes quite a long time to assess because there are too many physical files and manual calculations. GPM wanted to leverage technology to solve the problem. This study aims to implement the design thinking method in the design of lecturer performance information system. The design thinking method has 5 stages, namely empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Prototype testing using the system usability scale instrument obtained a final score of 83.86. With this score the prototype that has been tested is categorized as Acceptable based on the Acceptability Range with a value of B on the Grade Scale, and obtains an adjective rating of "Good" which indicates that the designed system has a proper level of usability or can be accepted by users.
