This research is to determine the adoption of E-Government in the HalloPalembang application in the city of Palembang. The design used is qualitative, with a descriptive research approach. This research is located in Palembang, with research subjects namely the Communication and Informatics Office of Palembang City and the people of Palembang city. data collection techniques obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and using the help of the Nvivo 12 Plus application for windows. The results of this study indicate that the adoption of the HalloPalembang application has not been maximized. In this case it refers to the most important indicators put forward by Jennifer P. Wisdom, Kimberly Eaton Hoagwood, Ka Ho Brian Chor, such as external environmental indicators which are still lacking due to a lack of public knowledge of the HalloPalembang application, elements within the organization that are already good and correlated socially. positive for the adoption of the HalloPalembang application, the characteristics of the HalloPalembang application which have provided benefits but there are still some problems when the application is run, and individual indicators that are still not optimal.
