To deal with the dynamics of international trade, countries in the world cooperate with each other in the economic, political and security sectors in order to maintain the stability of their countries. This cooperation is carried out bilaterally and multilaterally in the form of free trade agreements. One of the bilateral trade agreements that Indonesia has carried out is the IC-CEPA with Chile which has been in effect since 10 August 2019. Indonesia's efforts to increase trade cooperation with Chile are carried out in three stages: input, throughput, and output. Input is the cause to making an agreement, in this case, the deficit experienced by Indonesia in its trade with Chile in 2019. Throughput is the process of executing the agreement, where Indonesia conducts socialization, webinars/seminars, and tariff reductions. In carrying out this IC-CEPA agreement, Indonesia also has an implementing media, namely the ITPC, the representative office of the Indonesian Ministry of Trade in Santiago, Chile. While the output is the result of the agreement, including increasing the value of exports and the trade balance, as well as the benefits obtained by related companies.
