This research is titled "Representation of Toxic tlationship in Music Video (Semiotic Analysis of Be Free - Michaelachel Music Video)". The title is based on the phenomenon of toxic relationships in everyday life, such as in romantic relationships, friendships, and even work environments, then represented in a music video. The purpose of this research is to describe behaviors that are interpreted as representations of toxic relationships in the Be Free Michaelachel music video. The study employs Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, which consists of thre dimensions: denotation, connotation, and myths, using a qualitative deseriptive research method. The research findings indicate that in the Be Free - Michaelachel music video, representations of toxic relationships can be found through visuals, lyrics, and conveyed narratives. The analysis results show that the depiction of taxic behaviors is not limited solely to physical abuse but can also be characterized by emotional abuse, manipulation, control feelings of insecurity, constantly unhappy, and the presence of toxic relationship behaviors demonstrating that power and dominance are exerted through hoth physical and emotional abuse Keywords: Representation, Toxic Relationship, Semiotics, Music Videe
