STUDI DINAMIKA AIR DAN SIFAT FISIK TANAH TERHADAP KEGIATAN USAHA TANI PADA MUSIM TANAM PERTAMA (MT1) DI LAHAN PASANG SURUT DESA SRIMULYO
The purpose of this study was to examine the water management system in the first growing season (MT1) for the condition of the groundwater table in tidal land type B P10 - 2S Srimulyo Village. To study the effect of groundwater conditions and canals on the production of farming businesses in the first growing season (MT1) in tidal land with type C P10 - 1S Srimulyo Village. To determine the physical characteristics of the soil for farming in the first growing season (MT1) in typology C tidal land of Srimulyo Village. Rainfall is one of the main benchmarks for farmers, especially in Srimulyo Village, in the rice cultivation process because this area is a rain-fed area where water is only available in large quantities only during the rainy season. The rest is during the dry season the farmers change cultivation to palawija crops. Rainfall also affects the observed groundwater table and canal water table. The results of the Waterpass carried out in the village of Srimulyo, namely, it is known that the distance of the wells pipe to the piscall board is 5.83 m, the piscall height is 100 to the ground surface 35 cm, the wells pipe height is 54 cm to the ground surface 30 cm. So the waterpass in the research area in the village of Srimulyo is 7.8%, the slope of the land. Tertiary water 100 cm: does not inundate the land = 54 cm. Based on the results of the analysis of the six textures carried out in the laboratory of the soil department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sriwijaya, the same texture class was found, namely loam, sandy loam, slick loam, and sandy loam. The bulk density of the soil is inversely proportional to the total pore space and is largely determined by the organic matter contained in the soil. The composition of the soil pores consists of fast drainage pores, slow drainage pores, macro pores, soil water holding capacity pores and total pore space.
