PROFIL PEMBASAHAN TANAH PADA SISTEM IRIGASI TETES MENGGUNAKAN EMITTER BOTTLE DRIPPE
This research aims to determine the distance between the installation of drip irrigation emitters and plants. The research was carried out in July 2023 at the Soil and Water Engineering Laboratory and greenhouse, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwiaya University, Jalan Anyeb, Bukit Lama, Ilir Barat 1 District, Palembang City. The research methods used are determining plant water needs, determining drip rate and testing drip performance. Determining plant water needs using the Blaney-criddle model. The results of estimating plant water needs are simulated to determine the drip rate treatment, namely by adjusting the size of the opening and the height (head). To obtain a constant drip rate, a Mariotte tube is used. The results of the research showed that the distance between installing drip irrigation emitters and plants for chili and watermelon plants at a height (head) of 20 cm was 1.55 cm, at a height of 50 cm was 1.79 cm, at a height of 100 cm was 1.92 cm and for a height of 150 cm the distance is 2.20 cm.
