EVALUASI KESERAGAMAN PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI BEBERAPA AKSESI PADI BERAS HITAM (Oryza sativa L. indica) PADA KONDISI LAHAN SAWAH TADAH HUJAN
This research aims to evaluate the uniformity of growth and production of several accessions of black rice (Oryza sativa L. indica) in rainfed paddy field conditions. This research was conducted in Betung village, West Semendawai sub-district, East Oku district, South Sumatra province from May 2023 to August 2023. The method used was Randomized Group Design (RGD) consisting of 6 accessions of black rice with 3 blocks of each accession. Observations were made by randomly determining sample plants in 5 observation plots, namely 4 plots approaching/pointing at each corner and 1 plot in the middle of the plot. Each plot determined 5 sample plants, thus each block has 25 sample plants. Data analysis used Anova (Analysis of Variance), BNT mean value test method and calculation of heritability value (H), and F-max test to determine the difference in the value of diversity in each variable. Analysis of Variance at the 5% level gave significantly different results on all variables except for the variable Percentage of panicles per clump with maturity >85% which showed results that were not significantly different. The uniformity of growth and production in general is good, plant height 128.14 to 139.41 cm, total number of tillers 31.19 to 40.20 stems, harvest age 82 to 87 hst, total number of dry milled grain 2077.67 to 2365.19 grains, total weight of dry milled grain 48.56 to 56.74 g/plant. In terms of growth and production, accessions regita 1, regita 5, febry 5, regita 3, and regita 6 have good growth and production as potential new varieties. However, in terms of productivity, accessions regita 1 and 5 have better productivity compared to other accessions.
