This study aims to determine the heavy metal content of cadmium (Cd) in tidal swamp at Tanjung Lago District. This research was carried out from October 2021 to January 2022 typology A, B, C, and D tidal agricultural land in Mulia Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. This study uses survey and soil test methods with the number of sample points taken is 12 points using the composite system method. The variables observed at each point in the field were the expanse of land, while the variables observed in the laboratory were the chemical properties of the soil (soil Cd content, pH, CEC, Pyrite and C-Organic). The results showed that soil sample containing heavy metal Cd Typology A had an average value of 0.20 mg/kg, Typologi B had an average value of 0,16 mg/kg, Typologi C had an average value of 0.24 mg/kg,and Typologi D has an average value of 0.24 mg/kg, so that the soil in the tidal fields of the Village Mulia Sari, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency has exceeded the threshold based on Suastawan dkk (2015) is or 0.50 mg/kg.
