PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK KOMPOS DAUN KARET (Hevea brasiliensis) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BAYAM MERAH (Amaranthus tricolor L.) DAN SUMBANGANNYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SMA
This study aims to determine the effect of rubber leaf compost on the growth of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L.). The research method used is an experimental method with a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) design consisting of six treatments and four repetitions. The treatment was in rhe form of giving compost with different concentrations consisting of P0 (0%) as control, P1 (10%), P2 (20%), P3 (30%), P4 (40%), and P5 (50%). Parameters observed in this study were stem height, number of leaves, leaf area, shoot wet weight, shoot dry weight, root wet weight and rot dry weight. Data obtained is analyzed using a variant print analysis followed by Duncan’s test and Least Significance Different. The results of this study indicate that the application of rubber leaf compost has a significant effect on all growth parameters. The concentration 0f 10% compost is the recommended treatment to increase the growth of red spinach with the average yield of stem height 34.15 cm, number of leaves 13.5, shoot wet weight 8.90 grams, shoot dry weight 0.64 grams, wet weight of roots 1.15 grams and root dry weight 0.078 grams. Based on these results, it can be concluded that rubber leaf compost has an effect on the growth of red spinach. The results of this study are used as a source of infoemation in learning biologi in SMA class XII material on Growth and Development of Living Things on basic competencies 3.1.
