HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEPERCAYAAN DIRI DENGAN INTERAKSI SOSIAL SISWA KELAS X SMA SRIJAYA NEGARA PALEMBANG
Being self-assured is crucial to a person's personality development because it influences how well they learn, interact with others, and adapt to their surroundings. Because it will be challenging to create positive social connections with friends and the surroundings without individual self-assurance, confidence is crucial in social interaction. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-confidence and social interaction in class X SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. The type of research used in this study was quantitative with a correlational method with a sample of 71 students from 248 populations taken using a proportional random sampling technique. Sampling using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was a scale of self-confidence and social interaction. Based on the research results, it is known that the level of self-confidence and social interaction of students is in the high category. And from the results of the analysis of the data obtained using the Pearson product-moment correlation, the results of the analysis were 0.736 as > of 0.233 from 71 respondents with a significance level of 5% so that the hypothesis test was > , and the significance value was 0.000 < 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between self-confidence and social interaction in class X SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. The positive connection demonstrates that the variables for self-confidence and social engagement are pointing in the same general direction. So, social contact increases as self-confidence does. It is hoped that the school would be able to keep up the pupils' high levels of social engagement and self-confidence. Keywords: confidence, social interaction, student
