This present study aimed to know the causality factors of the students’ low self-confidence during the lesson on civic education in Junior High School 2 Indralaya Utara. This research used the Quantitative approach with the Descriptive Method. The population of this study was 77 students. The sample in this study used Non-Probability Sampling with the type of Purposive Sampling, with a total of the samples 24 students. The technique of collecting data for this study was through documentation and a questionnaire. This study’s findings indicated that the causality factors of the students’ low self-confidence during the lesson of Civic Education at Junior High School 2 Indralaya Utara were; (1) self-concept indicators obtained an average percentage of 77.87%, (2) the self-confidence indicator obtained an average percentage of 83.50%, (3) the experience indicator obtained an average percentage of 75.83%, and (4) the education indicator obtained an average percentage of 65.63%. Based on these data, it can be seen that the education factor got the lowest percentage. It also highlighted that the factor that had the most influence on students' low self-confidence during Civics learning at SMP Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara was the educational factor.
