This study is entitled The Effect of Role Playing Methods on the Speaking Skill of Group B Children in Kindergarten Pembina Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir with the goal of the study to see the effect of the role playing method on the speaking ability of group B children. This type of research was a quasi-experimental method with the One Shoot Case Study design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with consideration of the low speaking ability in group B. The sample consisted of 13 children. This research was conducted in 6 meetings. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation sheets. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, tcount = 1.69 ≥ ttable = 0.539 with α = 0.05 and dk = 12. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the role playing method on speaking ability in group B children in Tanjung Batu Ogan Ilir Kindergarten. This is evidenced that 7 children are in the very well developed category, then 3 children are in the developing category as expected, 2 children are in the starting to develop category, and 1 child is in the undeveloped category. From the 6 meetings at each meeting, the dominant indicator emerged, namely indicator 3, constructing sentences without being guided and exemplified. Indicator 6 repeats sentences without being guided and exemplified. While the indicators that do not appear are expressing ideas without being guided and exemplified.
