KECERNAAN BAHAN KERING, Ph DAN KONSENTRASI N-AMONIA PADARUMPUT MOMBACA (Panicum Maximum Var Mombaca) AMONIASI SECARA In Vitro
Dry Matter Ingredients, pH and N-Amonia Concentration Of Ammoniated Mombaca Grass (Panicum Maximum Var Mombaca) In Vitro (Supervised by ARFAN ABRAR, S.Pt., M.Si., PhD., IPM.) This research was aimed to study the concentration of short chain fatty acids and gas production in vitro on ammoniated mombaca grass. This research was carried out for 14 days in the Nutrition and Animal Feed Lab, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Animal Technology and Industry, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The research design used in this study is that this study consisted of 4 treatments, each treatment Amoniation repeated 6 times. The treatments were differentiated based on the treatment on Mombaca grass P0(Mombaca Grass + concentrate = 70% : 30%), P1(Mombaca Grass Ammoniation + Concentrate = 70%:30%) P2(Mombaca Grass Ammoniation + Concentrate = 80% : 20%) , P3 (Ammoniation of Mombaca Grass + Concentrate = 90% : 10%). The results of the study concluded that the treatment with a combination of ammoniation and concentrate on mombaca grass was able to increase dry matter digestibility with a total N-Ammonia concentration from 5.53 mM (P0) to 13.16 mM (P3) and was able to increase the pH value in P2 treatment.
