UJI KINERJA MODIFIKASI MESIN TABUR PUPUK TEH UNTUK PENABUR PUPUK KANDANG
This study aims to determine the performance of the modification of the tea fertilizer sowing machine using manure. This research was conducted from April 2022 to August 2022. The method used was descriptive-quantitative by collecting data using two different land conditions, namely land with parallel paths and basins. Implementation of fertilization on oil palm plants as many as ten discs for each study. Parameters measured are effective capacity, working capacity and fuel requirements. On parallel land the effective capacity obtained was 42.91 kg/hour and on basin land it was obtained 54.34 kg/hour. On parallel land the work capacity obtained was 0.150 ha/hour and on basin land it was obtained 0.190 ha/hour. On parallel land, the fuel requirement is 1.004 litre/hour and on basin land it is 0.956 litre/hour. The results of this study obtained the highest calculation data on the effective capacity parameter and the working capacity parameter is the land with the basin area, while the highest fuel demand parameter is on parallel land because in the basin area the fertilizer comes out faster due to the pipe height factor from the ground and the pipe angle to land. The results showed that the things that affected the implementation of the spreading fertilizer were the flow of fertilizer from the tank to the spreader blades and the rotating speed of the spreader blades.
