This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of video-based media material on the basic techniques of badminton footwork in PJOK learning at SMK Muhamadiyah Sungailiat, Bangka. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles of action. Techniques in data collection used are in the form of tests and observations. In class action research there are several stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. The subjects in this study were students in class X Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO) at SMK Muhamadiyah Sungailiat, Bangka Belitung with a total of 26 students. Based on the results of this study, the results in the pre-cycle obtained classical completeness of 46.1% with an average value of 61.9%, the results of the first cycle of action with student learning outcomes obtained classical completeness of 57.6% with an average value reached 67.7%. Furthermore, in the action cycle II students get learning outcomes with a classical value of 88.4% with an average value of 80%. From the results of the activeness of students has increased, namely in the pre-cycle action it reached 56.5% with the category quite active, the action cycle I the percentage of student activity reached 68.2% with the active category and in the action cycle II the percentage of students' activity reached the figure is 72.3% with the active category. So it can be concluded that the application of video-based media to basic badminton footwork technique material can be said to be effectively used in learning at SMK Muhamadiyah Sungailat Vocational High School, Bangka Belitung.
