The peat ecosystem is the arrangement of peat elements which is a complete unified whole that influences each other in forming balance, stability and productivity. This research was carried out on the peat land of the Sriwijaya Botanical Gardens in the Bakung Village area, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province, and was carried out at the Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility Laboratory, Soil Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The method used in this study is a survey method with the help of base maps with a scale of 1:10,000 in the area of the study (± 100 hectares). There are 20 sample points, each sample representing ± 5 hectares. Tracking to sample points using a GPS guide tool. The results of this study were that the peatlands of the Sriwijaya Botanical Gardens had bulk density with a value range of 0.18-0.34 g/cm3. C-Organic content in the peat soil of the Sriwijaya Botanical Gardens with a value range of 23.19% -84.03%. The N-Total content also has a range of values ranging from 11.19% -24.57%. Likewise with the C/N content with a value range of 1.24-4.03.
