This study aims to determine the presence of the role of parents in developing art for children aged 5-6 years in Celikah OKI village. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive with a research sample of 10 parents who have children aged 5-6 years in the village of Celikah OKI. Data collection techniques used were interviews and questionnaires on research sample. The data analysis technique uses percentage calculations and the results of the study show that the role of parents in developing fine arts in children aged 5-6 years has been implemented in 68%. With details as much as 20% (6) are in the Always (SL) category, 63% (19) are in the Often (SR) category, 17% (5) are in the Sometimes (KK) category, and 0% (0) is at Never (TP). For the highest category is in art activity, namely 69%, and children's independence, namely 68%. While the percentage in the lowest category, namely an indicator of children's creativity and imagination, is 66%. So it can be concluded that the role of parents in developing art for children aged 5-6 years in Celikah OKI village has been carried out well, such as by providing support and motivation and guiding children to get to know various kinds of fine arts.
