KLASIFIKASI JENIS SAMPAH MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMA CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORK.
Indonesia ranks second in contributing the largest amount of plastic waste to the global oceans, producing approximately 64 million tons of plastic waste annually, with around 3.2 million tons reaching the oceans and 85,000 tons of plastic bags discarded on land. Waste sorting plays a crucial role in waste management, enabling more efficient handling by allocating it appropriately to landfills or processing facilities based on its type. This process supports waste reduction, recycling, and environmental preservation. The study utilized Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithms with DenseNet121 and MobileNetV2 for classifying waste without human intervention. Testing on five waste categories showed the highest success rate of 86%. The testing involved 1000 test data and 250 training data, divided into 200 test and 50 training data for each waste category tested.
