RESPON TANAMAN CHAYA (CNIDOSCOLUS ACONITIFOLIUS) DAN KADAR N TERHADAP PEMBERIAN ECOENZYME DAN PUPUK KOMPOS PADA TANAH RAWA LEBAK
One of the benefits of Ecoenzyme and compost is to fertilize plants and increase the rate of plant growth. Plant growth is an event of increasing plant size, which can be measured by increasing the size and height of plant organs. This study aims to determine plant N nutrient uptake and growth of Chaya (Cnidoscolus aconitifolius) plants by applying Ecoenzyme and compost to lebak swamp soil. This research was conducted at the Greenhouse, Department of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) Factorial which consisted of two treatment factors, namely Ecoenzyme with three levels namely, Control (E0), 25 ml of plant Ecoenzyme-1 (E1), 75 ml of plant Ecoenzyme- 1 (E2), factor the second is compost with 3 levels, namely, Control (K0), 2.5 tons ha-1 (K1), 5 tons ha-1 (K2), each treatment was repeated 3 times, so there were 27 experimental units. The results showed that the application of Ecoenzyme at various doses had a very significant effect on fresh weight and plant height, whereas the application of compost at various doses had no significant effect on response. The combination treatment of Ecoenzyme (E) and Compost (K) also had no significant effect on response.
