PERILAKU PENGGUNAAN DAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENGGUNAAN MINYAK GORENG KEMASAN OLEH RUMAH TANGGA DI KABUPATEN MUARA ENIM
This study aims (1) to calculate the amount of consumtion of packaged cooking oil by households in Tanjung Enim Sub-District, Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency, (2) to analyze the factors that influence the consumption of packaged cooking oil by household in Tanjung Enim Sub-District, Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency, (3) to describe the behavior of using and handling cooking oil waste by households in Tanjung Enim Sub-District, Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency. This research was conducted in Tanjung Enim Sub-District, Lawang Kidul District, Muara Enim Regency. This location was determined (purposively). This study used a survey method. The sampling method used in this study was simple random sampling with a sample of 50 housewives using packaged cooking oil. Data collection was carried out in January 2023. The results of this study were (1) the average household consumption of packaged cooking oil was 5 liter/month, (2) factors that have a significant effect on cooking oil consumption by households were price, income and number of family members, while age and education have no signification effect, (3) the average volume of cooking oil used in households is 250 grams with a frequency of use of 3 times and the average household handling of leftover cooking oil is by disposing of it directly, namely 84 percent in the kitchen sink with 46 percent percentage and 46 percent drains.
