The objectives of this reseacrh is to: 1). Analyzing the criteria for the condition of rice availability of farmer households in Keramasan and KemasRindo Villages, Kertapati District, Palembang City. 2). Analyzing the differences in income of farmer households in Keramasan and KemasRindo villages, Kertapati sub-district, Palembang city. 3.) Analyzing the factors that influence the availability of rice for farmer households in Keramasan and KemasRindo villages, Kertapati sub-district, Palembang city. The results of this study indicate that: 1). The availability of rice in Keramasan Village obtained a result of 1,071 kg / year which is included in the medium criteria. While in KemasRindo Village the result is 654 kg / year which is included in the low criteria. 2). Based on the Mann Whitney test conducted, it can be seen that the value of Asymp Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.005 so that the value of Asymp Sig. (2-tailed) ≤ 0.05 which means reject H0. So it can be concluded that the household income of farmers in Keramasan Village is greater than in KemasRindo Village. 3). Factors that have a significant effect on rice availability in Keramasan Village are land area, household income, grain price, number of family members, education level, and household rice consumption. Meanwhile, farmer age and length of farming have no significant effect on rice availability in Keramasan Village. Factors that significantly affect rice availability in KemasRindo Village are grain price, number of family members, farmer age, and farmer household rice consumption. Meanwhile, land size, household income, farming duration and education level do not significantly affect rice availability in KemasRindo Village.
