FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KONSUMSI BERAS RUMAH TANGGA DI KELURAHAN BUKIT SANGKAL KOTA PALEMBANG
Indonesia is a country that has abundant natural resources, one of the results of the agricultural sector is rice which is a staple food needed for Indonesia. The main factors that influence the high level of rice consumption are the large population and the wider area that makes rice the main staple food. This study aims to 1) What types of carbohydrate sources and how much are consumed by households in Bukit Sangkal Village 2) Are there differences in the amount and quality of rice consumed by households at low, medium, or highincome levels in aforesaid 3) What factors affect rice consumption in households aforesaid. The research location is aforesaid. The sampling method used is a random sample method that is disproportionate to a sample of 60 respondents. The results of this study showed that: 1) Households in Bukit Sangkal Village chose the same type of carbohydrates, namely rice with the largest amount of carbohydrates at a high income level. 2) There are differences in the quantity and quality of rice at high, medium, and low income levels, where the higher the income, the more you will choose good quality rice. 3) Factors that positively affect household rice consumption in Bukit Sangkal Village are the number of family members, gender, and quality of rice. Meanwhile, factors that negatively affect the level of household rice consumption are the age of household members, while factors that do not affect rice consumption are education, income, and occupation.
