EVALUASI STATUS HARA N, P, DAN K TANAH PADA AREAL KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) DI DESA JAJARAN BARU 1 KECAMATAN MEGANG SAKTI KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS, SUMATERA SELATAN
Oil palm plants are one of the plantation crops that have an important role in the Indonesian economy. One of the growth factors for oil palm is the nutrient content in the soil. This research aims to evaluate the nutrients N, P and K and determine location-specific fertilizer recommendations in oil palm areas, Megang Sakti District, Musi Rawas Regency. This research uses a detailed level survey method with a scale of 1: 7000 and laboratory analysis by taking soil samples at a depth of 0-30 cm. Soil samples were taken at 10 sample points where each sample consisted of 5 drilling points which were then composited, each sample representing 1 ha of land area. The soil chemical properties observed were: total N, available P, available K, soil CEC and soil pH. The results of the N-total analysis are classified as moderate, very low to low, ranging between (0,02 – 0,031%). Available P is classified as low, medium to very low, ranging between (1,08 – 15,65 ppm). Available K is classified as moderate, low to very low, ranging between (0,17 cmol kg-1 - 0.59 cmol kg-1). Soil Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) is classified as moderate (12,5 – 20 cmol kg-1). Soil pH is classified as very acidic to acidic, ranging between (3,13 – 4,10). From the analysis results, it was found that location-specific NPK fertilizer recommendations for oil palm plants were Urea fertilizer with doses ranging from (8,7 – 134,79 kg ha-1), SP-36 fertilizer with doses ranging from (11,61 – 173,78 kg ha-1) as well as KCI fertilizer with doses ranging from (-118 - -1144.1 kg ha-1).
