ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN LITERASI LINGKUNGAN (ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY) PESERTA DIDIK DI SMA BUKIT ASAM TANJUNG ENIM

This study aims to determine the level of environmental literacy skills of students at SMA Bukit Asam Tanjung Enim based on aspects of knowledge, attitude and behaviour. The method used was descriptive quantitative. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The population in this study were all students of class X, XI MIPA, and XII MIPA SMA Bukit Asam. Determination of the sample using random sampling technique, which obtained class X.A, X.B, XI MIPA 1, XI MIPA 2, XII MIPA 1, and XII MIPA 2. The results showed that in the knowledge aspect of class X students had a moderate category (52.63%), class XI had a moderate category (51.92%), in class XII had a moderate category (56.90%). In the attitude aspect, class X students have a good category (50.88%), class XI has a sufficient category (51.72%), class XII has a sufficient category (51.72%). In the behaviour aspect, class X students have a moderate category (71.93%), class XI has a moderate category (51.92%), class XII has a moderate category (74.14%). Overall, Bukit Asam High School students in the knowledge aspect had a moderate category of 53.89%. In the attitude aspect, it has a moderate category of 46.71%. In the behavioural aspect, 66.47% had a moderate category. Further research can be carried out by introducing the surrounding environment, discussing existing environmental problems, and carrying out activities that have a positive impact on the environment so that it is possible to increase the level of environmental literacy of students.
